System Resource Monitor
Monitor RAM and CPU usage for all your Roblox instances across devices. Essential for finding the right optimization settings and identifying performance bottlenecks.
What It Shows
- RAM usage per Roblox instance - See exactly how much memory each game uses
- CPU usage per instance - Monitor processor load for each Roblox app
- System totals - Overall device performance and available resources
- Real-time monitoring - Continuous updates to track changes
How to Use
Step 1: Start Monitoring
- Open Zerx and select “System Resource Monitor”
- Choose monitoring mode:
- Single Scan - Check resources once
- Continuous Monitoring - Updates every 10 seconds
Step 2: View Resource Data
The monitor displays detailed information for each device:
Device Information:
- System RAM usage - Total used vs available memory
- CPU usage - Overall system processor load
- CPU cores - Number of processing cores available
Per-Instance Details:
- Instance name - client, clone1, clone2, etc.
- RAM usage - Memory used by each Roblox app
- CPU percentage - Processor usage per instance
- Process ID - For advanced troubleshooting
Color Coding:
- 🟢 Green - Good performance (low usage)
- 🟡 Yellow - Moderate usage (keep an eye on it)
- 🔴 Red - High usage (may need optimization)
Using the Data
For Optimization Settings
Identifying Problems
Warning Signs:
- RAM usage over 1500MB per Roblox instance - Potential memory leaks
- CPU constantly above 50% - Overloaded system
- System RAM above 90% - Need more memory or fewer instances
Common Issues:
- One instance using much more resources - May be stuck or problematic
- Gradual increase over time - Memory leaks requiring restart
- Sudden spikes - Game loading or intensive activities
Optimization Workflow
1. Baseline Measurement
- Run single scan with current settings
- Note resource usage per instance
- Check for any red/yellow warnings
2. Adjust Settings
- Use Device Optimization to modify settings
- Increase RAM if instances are using high memory
- Adjust CPU cores based on processor usage
3. Test Changes
- Run continuous monitoring for 10-15 minutes
- Watch for improvements in resource usage
- Verify stability hasn’t decreased
4. Fine-tune
- Make small adjustments based on data
- Test different games - some use more resources
- Find optimal balance between performance and quantity
Need Help?
If you see concerning resource usage:
- Try reducing the number of instances per device
- Use lower graphics settings in games
- Consider upgrading system RAM if consistently high
